COPI: elements used to cover the cane joints

CANA: clear or coloured glass cane element
  • - RIGADA: wide twist
  • - RIGADIN: "fixed" (narrow) twist
  • - ISSA (smooth): no twist
FIORI: clear or coloured glass flower element
  • - DOPPI: normal rose with a bud above it
  • - TORSEO: in white paste with coloured stripes (always double)
  • - TAIENTAI: rose with petal edges all cut and a bud above it, all cut
FOGIE: leaves
  • - A PUNTA: with a pointed tip
  • - TONDE: with a rounded tip
  • - TAIENTAE: with a pointed cut tip
  • - ISSE: without any marks
  • - SQUARAE: with a single mark in the middle
  • - A SPIN DE PESSE: fish-bone

ROSETE: Ø 4, Ø 5 and Ø 6 rosettes
  • - ISSE: without any marks
  • - GEOSIA FINA: with light spotting

  • - IN PASTA: in coloured and not clear paste

RISSI: elements required to form the external frame of the mirror

BROCHE: small nails with a glass head used to secure the mirror elements in place

COEOR: colors 
  • - IN FOGO: with colour in the crucible
  • - COE MACE: using clear glass, it is stained by "gathering" coloured glass powder

BIZEO:  “chamfer” in other words grinding on the edge of the plate of glass

FIO GREZO: unpolished edge of the plate

FIO LUCIDO:

RODEA:
wheels in various materials used to engrave designs onto the plate

ARGENTA’

  • - IN BIANCO: normal silver-plating
  • - A VECIO: distressing process that replicates the progressive discolouration of the mirror with time
  • - A PIOMBO: dark purplish-coloured silver
